Biography
Antony Maruca is a highly experienced investor and property developer, bringing over 40 years of expertise to his role. Originally from Sydney, Antony moved to Brisbane as a teenager, where he attended Hendra State High School and completed his diploma in Building in the late 1980s. Raised in a family that instilled strong values and a deep connection to their Italian heritage, Antony has always been grounded in his origins.
As a long-time resident of New Farm, Antony joined ANFE in 2012, where his extensive experience in the property sector has proven invaluable. He played a pivotal role in securing a new location for ANFE's premises at Stafford, ensuring the Association had a suitable space to continue its important work. Antony dedicated countless hours of his time and applied his personal expertise to the planning and renovation of the building, ultimately delivering Brisbane’s newest Italian Club. His contributions have been essential in propelling ANFE towards a vibrant future, helping to secure its place as a central hub for the Italian community in Brisbane.
